My husband wanted to go for a drive tonight, as always, I grab my camera, because you never know. He said to not bring it, we won't see anything, but I brought it anyways, I know better than to leave it haha. We didn't see much, but as soon as we turned on our road before home, I saw something and said I think that's an owl and he agreed with me. He stopped the truck, and sure enough, an owl was sitting on top of a driveway post. I was so excited to see an owl again, but it was one I have never seen before, let alone ever thought I would photograph, a Long-eared Owl. We sat in the truck, watching it as it was hunting low along the road ahead of us, landing on posts along the way, so cool!!
