Lighthouse at Hawkeye Lake, Thunder Bay, Ontario

This lighthouse is a playhouse for the children at the cabin. It is on the shore of beautiful Hawkeye Lake. When the men go fishing in the evening, they turn the light on inside and use it for a lighted path home.

Amazed to see this photo of our lighthouse..picture very similar to June,s version of the Heart and Stroke calendar and a local Thunder Bay credit union calendar (by Rick Smith) same lighthouse wqas repaired this year after 56 years of no problems..really is a museum that had many ships in bottle...all destroyed (3 5 gallon pails of broken glass.) since then place has been resecured against theft and vandalism.. this is a quiet piece of history on our lake...my dad built itArticle above is thereffore incorrect...it is a museum...
