    I returned 3 weeks later to catch this stunning image of him through the reeds, as he crossed the sun. Still patrolling the nesting pond, while the pen was nesting. INTERESTING NOTE: The cob will occasionally relieve the pen from her nesting duties so she can feed on her own. But more often he returns to regurgitate nutrients for her to consume.
