The adrenaline just subsiding now, I caught this beautiful shot of a gull lifting off a thoroughly whitewashed railing as I headed back to the car. I must say that I knew the risk of getting a whitwash MYSELF, by walking out on the peir. But surprisingly, not a single gull shat upon me while I was out there... lol
