Took this image yesterday while out for a little drive. She caught us by surprise we just happened to turn a corner and there she was flying across the road. Love that is was an overcasted day~

Cool shot, Michele....these fellas are often so low they are difficult to capture, so congratulations!
hi again Michele.....these sure are beauties and this is an excellent shot of this adult male northern harrier....what i especially like about harriers is the way they quarter a field and search a quarter of the field at a time until they have searched the whole field.....what i mean is that if you wait 15 or 20 minutes that bird will eventually fly within fairly close range and you can usually get really clean and sharp shots.
