Photography has always been a creative passion of mine. In my career as a graphic designer for 33 years, I have utilized the photography skills I had learned as a student of The Ontario College of Art (OCAD). I feel this knowledge made me a more complete designer. When a design required an image, I was able to grab my camera and shoot what I needed to fit the layout I created. As a former educator, I’ve always told my photography students that I was going to open their “creative eyes”. This is the basis of all my photography, to view our natural world in a creative, unique way. It is the way I approach every image I shoot, whether it is a heron scratching himself or a spiderweb dripping with morning dew being lit up by the sun. Thank you for taking the time to view my work.
