Studied commercial art at Alberta College of Art and Design in the 80's and took a basic black and white film photography course as part of the curriculum. Never became a working artist - instead went to U of C for a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Just picked up photography as a hobby by chance a couple years ago when I replaced my point and shoot camera with a Sony a6000 and needed to learn how to use it. Got hooked on shooting landscape and now enjoy heading to the mountains and parks for hiking and photography.
