This is the first modern Rolex watch, the first model from the Crown to embrace a modern dial design, and the watch that spans the entirety of the 1990s with little spillover into other decades.This new collection of time-and-date and chronograph models features a Clous de Paris pattern on the dial, giving it a bit of texture compared to the previously flat dials.
