I live in Eastern Ontario with my husband, soul mate and all around great cook of 25 years and dog. We now residing in the Kingston area having relocated in 2006 from the Ottawa area. I am an Ottawa born native and always consider Ottawa home. We are a blended family and as such I am a mother of five really great children (two boys and three girls) (his and mine) and "Gangie" to ten grandchildren (six boys and four girls. My background is public administration working with the Federal Government and Crown Corporations. I am a retired officer with the Canadian Armed Forces (Reserves) where I taught Military Administration over the years in Toronto at the staff school, at CFB London and at CFB Edmonton in the former base Greisbach. I have had a pen pal in England for almost 50 years. I "dabble" in photography and poetry. I write poetry under the nom du plume Myrtle Gertrude. I shoot with a Canon EOS 7D and my favorite lenses are my lensbabies. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.
