I was born and raised in Indiana, then lived in Kentucky for 10 years before moving to Canada in 1997. My husband and I lived in southeastern Ontario, where I enjoyed a wide range of freelance newspaper writing and photography assignments. In March 2011, my husband and I moved to Nova Scotia, where I have continued to write about and photograph this amazing place.
