Our Canadian winter has been relentless this year with omnipresent snow squalls, a Polar Vortex episode and constant bitterly cold winds. Winter photography has been a challenge this year! I was able to capture a rare moment of calm before the next onslaught of snow from the shore of the Sydenham River in Owen Sound, Ontario Canada.
