The French Cross Monument in Morden Nova Scotia shimmers in the late after sunlight glistening on the Bay of Fundy. Legend has it in 1756 Pierre Melanson and a young native boy crossed the Bay of Fundy seeking help after a harsh winter. On the return trip he died.
