To me, winter is bird watching and feeding season. Here in Nova Scotia we are blessed with many different species who spend the winter with us. These Mourning Doves struggled, like the rest of us, through the never ending winter of 2013. This one dove, with its wings outstretched, looked like it was protecting the smaller dove from the elements.
