Two Great Horned Owlets had out grown their nest and were eager to fledge and explore the world. Sadly on this day the weather was not in their favour. A down pour had soaked their feathers and their wings. You could tell they were frustrated, pacing in the nest, stretching their wings and pecking at the wood at the edge of the nest. At one point they both looked at me with quite the look as if they were asking please stop this rain! the next day the sun came out and they left the nest to explore the forest around them.
